Nissan Note Mixture Preparation Error

My 2009 Nissan Note diesel is throwing a 'mixture preparation error'. Check engine light's on, power's way down, engine runs rough, it jerks when I accelerate, and sometimes stalls at idle. I've got 242293 km on the clock. I've checked the intake manifold for leaks, and cleaned the mass airflow sensor, but no dice. Could it be a faulty injector? Air-fuel ratio is all over the place!

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Note. Reduced power, jerking, the whole shebang. Did you check your injectors? I'm no expert, but could that be causing the rich mixture?

Interesting. Injectors, eh? When you say 'similar issues', did you have the exact same symptoms? Check engine light and all? And what was the fix? I'm trying to avoid just throwing parts at it, you know?

Yeah, the check engine light was on, and it was definitely the injectors. I'm not mechanically minded enough to fix it myself, so I just took it to a workshop. Cost me 515€, but it solved the issue completely.

Right, injectors it is then. Thanks for the info! Looks like I'll be booking it into the workshop. 515€, ouch! But if it solves the issue, it's worth it I suppose.
