Nissan NV AC Not Cooling
Summary of the thread
The AC in a 2020 Nissan NV stopped working, despite the fuses being fine. Possible causes include a defect in individual valves or low refrigerant, though the latter is less likely due to the absence of relay clicking sounds. It is recommended to have a qualified mechanic perform proper AC diagnostics to identify the exact issue.

No unusual noises. Not sure when it was last serviced. I bought it used a year ago with 94027 km. I don't hear the AC relay clicking. How can I check the refrigerant level myself?

If you're not hearing the relay click and haven't had it serviced recently, it's less likely to be low refrigerant. Testing refrigerant levels properly requires specialized equipment. Given the symptoms and mileage, a likely cause is a defect in individual valves. I'd recommend taking it to a qualified mechanic for proper AC diagnostics to pinpoint the exact problem. You are probably looking at a bill around 1000€.

Thanks for the detailed advice! Sounds like I'm in over my head. I'll book it in with a workshop to get it checked out properly. Appreciate the help!

Bummer. Could be a few things causing a complete shutdown. Any strange noises from the AC compressor area lately? When was it last serviced or recharged? Could be low refrigerant. When the AC is switched on do you hear the AC relay clicking?
