Nissan NV Oil Temperature Warning Light
Summary of the thread
The engine oil temperature warning light in a 2021 Nissan NV with a gasoline engine keeps illuminating, accompanied by an error code related to the temperature sensor and occasional flickering of the oil pressure warning lamp. The issue may be due to a faulty connection at the temperature sensor's connector or a defective sensor itself. A suggested solution is to check the sensor connector for a bad connection, and if the problem persists, replacing the sensor may resolve the issue, as experienced by another owner.

Thanks! The error seems fairly persistent; clearing it only results in it reappearing after a short drive. When you say connector, are we talking about the one directly on the temp sensor itself, or somewhere else along the wiring harness?

Yes, I meant the connector on the temperature sensor itself. In my case, after checking it was properly connected I decided to visit a workshop. They said my engine oil temperature sensor was faulty and replaced it.

Thank you for your help. The workshop replaced the sensor, which cost me 95€. Now everything works as expected again.

I had a similar issue in my NV. Warning light and error code pointing to the temperature sensor. Check the sensor connector first; often it's just a bad connection. Is the error code persistent, or does it come and go?
