Nissan NV Overvoltage Errors

Hey, got a weird issue with my 2013 Nissan NV with a gasoline engine. Getting overvoltage errors, lots of fault codes, systems failing, and the battery seems weak when starting. Mileage is about 197645 km. Any ideas?

Whoa, sounds nasty! Had something similar happen with my old 2016 Opel Astra. Car was throwing a fit with all sorts of electrical errors. Weak starts too. Have you checked the battery? A heavily discharged or defective battery can cause all sorts of weird voltage issues.

Dude, trust me, car electrics are witchcraft! In my case, a dying battery was causing the alternator to work overtime, hence the overvoltage and the cascading failures. It's not always straightforward. Best bet is to get it checked at a workshop.

Right, I get it. Thanks for the tip! Turned out to be exactly as you said: a defective battery causing the overvoltage. Replaced it, and all the errors are gone. Cost me 290€, all included. Appreciate the help!
