Nissan NV Stalling at Idle
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Nissan NV is experiencing stalling at idle and a check engine light is on, possibly due to a recent fuel filter change. The issue might be related to the fuel pressure regulator or sensor, which could be causing a pressure drop. Checking these components is suggested, but ultimately, a visit to a workshop resolved the problem by clearing an error and replacing the pressure regulator.

Pressure regulator? Where is that thing even located? And could that really cause all these problems after just changing the fuel filter? I wouldn't even know where to start looking.

Yeah, it's usually near the fuel rail. Honestly, it could be a coincidence with the fuel filter, but I'd bet that's your culprit. My issue sounds the same. I hate to say it, but you might need to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. I did and it was the error entry that caused my problems.

Thanks a lot! I'll check the fuel pressure regulator and sensor, but it sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. Turns out it was exactly that. They cleared the error and changed the pressure regulator and now it runs like a charm. Cost me 45€, but worth it!

Dude, I had something similar happen in my NV! Is it like, a sudden pressure drop, like someone yanked the rug out from under the engine? Check your fuel pressure regulator and the pressure sensor. I bet it's throwing an error code.
