Nissan Pino engine misfire
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Nissan Pino is experiencing engine misfiring, rough running, a check engine light, jerking during acceleration, and reduced engine power. The initial suspicion is a bad fuel injector, but similar symptoms were resolved by checking ignition coils and spark plugs, with a defective injector ultimately identified as the cause. It is recommended to visit a workshop for a thorough inspection and potential repair of the injection valves.

Thanks. I haven't checked the ignition coils and spark plugs yet. Did you experience the jerking during acceleration as well, and did replacing the spark plugs solve it?

Yes, I had the jerking too. Replacing the spark plugs helped a bit, but the misfire persisted. It turned out to be a defective injector in my case. I suggest you visit a workshop for further investigation.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I will schedule an appointment with a workshop to have the injection valves checked. The estimated repair costs are around 515€. Hopefully that will solve the issue.

I had similar symptoms in my Pino. Have you checked the ignition coils and spark plugs? A cylinder misfire can also be caused by those.
