Nissan Rogue transmission issues
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Nissan Rogue is experiencing transmission issues, including warning lights, rough shifting, gear slipping, and grinding noises. The problem is suspected to be related to a radiator oil pressure error, possibly due to a faulty cable or plug. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by addressing a loose pressure sensor wire in the cooling system. The solution involved fixing a connector issue with the radiator coolant pressure sensor, resolving the problem.

So, just to be clear, it was a cooling system issue affecting the gearbox? How did you pinpoint that?

Exactly. The error codes pointed to the cooling system, but the symptoms were all transmission-related. A pressure sensor wire was loose. I'd suggest getting it checked professionally to be safe. Could be a quick fix.

Yep, you were spot on. Turns out the radiator coolant pressure sensor was the culprit. Connector issue, just like you said. 95€ later, all good. Thanks!

Sounds familiar. Had similar symptoms with my old Opel Astra. Turned out to be a faulty sensor in the cooling system messing with the transmission. Like a bad thermostat confusing the engine's brain.
