Nissan Sunny 2022 Navigation System Issues and Troubleshoot Suggestions

Navigationssystem is not working

Hey fellow car enthusiasts, I've run into a peculiar issue with my 2022 Nissan Sunny Gasoline engine - the navigation system's gone haywire. The screen just refuses to work, but I'm not completely sure if it's a screen failure or something else entirely. Has anyone encountered something similar? And if so, how did you get it sorted out at the workshop? Any advice on troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Hey there, Just samilar thing with my 2020 Nissan Almera; pretty much same stuff, only the model and the age are different. I'm not a car guru, but got some experience tinkering with minor issues. For me, the issue was a damaged display. Had to take a trip to my dependable workshop, and they sorted it out by replacing the defective part. Cost me a cool 725 Euro, but it was definitely worth restoring the functionality. Curious, though. Are you noticing any other issues with your Sunny, like issues with the audio or something that might suggest a more extensive problem? A bit more info might help to nail down a better diagnosis. Cheers!

Hey there! Thanks for the speedy reply. Your experience with your Almera is really handy to know. About your question, the audio is absolutely fine. The problem seems isolated to the navigation system screen. Although it's a bit irritating, it doesn't hamper the car's overall functionality. I was kind of hoping for a DIY solution before hauling my vehicle off to the workshop, but it's seeming like that might be my best bet in this case. I took this baby to its latest service when the mileage was at 140399 KM - so, it's been through a fair bit, though I didn't expect issues this early. Anyway, cheers! Your guidance means a lot. I guess a quick checkup at the workshop wouldn't hurt.

Hey, no worries, always happy to help a fellow Nissan owner out, my friend! I totally get you about hoping for a DIY solution, it's always a bummer when something like this comes up and it's out of our capacity to fix. It seems unlikely though, that it's something more extensive considering the audio's working fine. Hauling it off to the workshop sounds like a really good idea. You might be lucky and it could be something as simple as a loose connector or wire that they can sort out without replacing the whole screen. If not, well, replacing the screen isn't the worst thing that could happen. Good luck and let me know how it goes! Cheers.

Cheers for the support! I'm genuinely hoping it's not a major problem and your loose-connector theory is the culprit. I'm planning on booking a checkup early next week. Fingers crossed that it doesn't end up burning a hole in my pocket. I'll keep you updated on how everything turns out. Thanks again for the advice, it's eased my mind a bit. All the best!
