Nissan Sunny lights switching on by themselves
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Nissan Sunny is experiencing an issue where the lights turn on by themselves, with a fault detected in the lighting circuit. The problem might be due to a faulty cable or plug connection. Suggestions include checking the dimmer switch and harness connector, but a similar case was resolved by replacing a defective relay. It is recommended to have the vehicle inspected by a professional.

Hmm, dimmer switch, you say? Where exactly is that located, and what should I be looking for when I check it? Any tips?

It's part of the light switch, to the left of the steering wheel. Unfortunately, after replacing the switch and harness, the problem persisted. In the end, the workshop found a defective relay. So maybe better to have it checked out by a professional right away. The repair cost me around 95€.

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my Sunny. Is it possibly the dimmer switch? Check the harness connector.
