Thanks for the tip! Do you remember if the low oil level was the only problem in your case, or were there other underlying issues as well?

Topping up the oil sorted out the immediate problems for me. However, I'd still recommend getting it checked by a workshop. It's possible there's a leak somewhere, or the sensor itself might be faulty. Best to be on the safe side. Eventually I had to pay 365€, but it was worth it.

Thanks a lot! I checked the oil level, and you were spot on – it was indeed very low. Topped it up, and the warning light disappeared, and the shifting is much smoother now. I'll still take it to a mechanic to check for leaks, but you saved me a lot of headache!

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms on my Winner. Check your gearbox oil level. When mine was low, it triggered all sorts of sensor issues and weird shifting. It's a pretty simple check to start with.
