Noah AC Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Toyota Noah hybrid's AC system failed completely, with no cold air and a warning light on the speedometer. The error memory indicated refrigerant compressor failure, leading to suspicion of a faulty AC control unit. Similar issues were reported by another owner, who confirmed that a defective AC control unit can cause compressor failure. The recommended solution was to take the vehicle to a workshop for repair, which resolved the issue.

Yeah, the code's dead-on compressor failure. And yeah, it does seem like an electrical fault. Did you have the same?

Yep, compressor issues caused by AC control unit. Unfortunately, it wasn't a simple fix for me either. Honestly, based on what you're describing, save yourself the headache and take it to a decent workshop.

Thanks for the heads-up! Took it to the shop, turns out you were spot on. Defective AC control unit fried the compressor. Bill came to 980€, ouch! At least it's fixed now.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got a Noah too, and had similar issues last summer. The AC just went kaput out of nowhere. Was the error code specifically pointing to the compressor, or were there other weird electrical faults popping up?
