Noah central locking failure

Alright, gearheads, I'm pulling my hair out here. My 2021 Toyota Noah, gasoline engine, is giving me fits. The central locking has completely konked out on me at 99765 km. Doors refuse to lock or unlock, and I'm getting an error stored in the error memory. I suspect it's a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else run into this headache?

I have a Noah too, and I experienced similar central locking issues. Did you check the key fob battery? Sometimes a weak battery can cause intermittent problems with the remote locking system. Also, does the keyless entry work, or is it completely dead?

Good call on the key fob, I should've thought of that! I swapped out the battery, but no dice. Still nothing. As for the keyless entry, that's dead too. Does that point to a deeper problem, maybe something with the security system itself?

Since the battery swap didn't resolve it and keyless entry is also non-functional, it does seem like more than just a key fob issue. From my experience, and considering the error memory, I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop. It could be related to the likely cause you mentioned: Cable or plug connection of the component defective.

You were spot on! Took it to the local shop, and it turned out to be a corroded connector in the central locking module. They cleaned it up, and everything's working perfectly again. Cost me 95€. Thanks for the advice – really appreciate it!
