Thanks for the reply! I only checked the wiring so far. How did you find out that the heater element was broken? Is there a way to test it without special equipment?

Unfortunately, I couldn't test it myself. I took it to a workshop, they identified the defective sensor. Think of it like a lightbulb filament burning out. Best to get it properly diagnosed to be sure.

Appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a workshop and have them check the sensor properly. It's probably better than messing around with it myself, especially with the exhaust system involved. The repair cost was 95€, so it's not the end of the world.

I also own a Noah. Had a similar issue. The check engine light and increased fuel consumption were the first signs. Have you checked the sensor itself, or just the wiring? It could be a faulty heater element within the sensor.
