Noah sunroof initialization error
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Toyota Noah hybrid experienced a 'not initialized' error with its sunroof system, causing the sunblind and convertible top to malfunction. This issue arose immediately after recent coding changes to the vehicle's software. The problem was identified as a configuration issue with the sunroof control module, which required a reset and recalibration at a workshop to resolve.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Yes, precisely. It started immediately after. Is there any way to reconfigure the sunroof system myself, or am I likely looking at a trip to a workshop?

Given that the issue arose directly after the coding, and the sunroof is completely non-functional, it strongly suggests a configuration problem with the sunroof system. I think it is best if you take the Noah to a workshop. They can recalibrate the sunroof and see if it is working again.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a workshop, as you suggested. Turns out the sunroof control module needed a reset and recalibration after the coding messed things up. Cost me 75€, but at least it's working again.

That does sound rather concerning. When you say 'coding', are you referring to modifications made to the car's software? And has this issue with the sunroof arisen directly after said coding? I am asking because it sounds like the sunroof control module may have lost its configuration.
