Note NOx Catalyst Aging Exhaust Leak

My 2011 Nissan Note, gasoline engine, 222645 km, shows a NOx storage catalyst aging error. The check engine light is on, and I'm getting exhaust leaking. Suspect a leak in the exhaust system somewhere.

I had a similar issue with my Note. Same error codes. Check the exhaust manifold gasket. Is your fuel efficiency also affected?

Where exactly was the leak located in your case? Fuel efficiency seems slightly affected, yes.

It was indeed the exhaust manifold gasket. Replace it, and you will be good to go. But given the symptoms, a check at a workshop would still be advisable.

Thanks for the tip. Confirmed, exhaust manifold gasket was leaking. Replacement cost me 265€. Problem solved.
