Thanks for the quick reply. No rough running or fuel economy changes. I've inspected the wiring visually and didn't notice anything obvious. Is there a way to test the sensor or wiring with a multimeter to pinpoint the issue more precisely?

Hmm, if you're not noticing performance issues and the wiring looks okay, it could be a tricky one. Testing with a multimeter is possible, but you'd need the correct pinout diagram and resistance values for the sensor. Honestly, given the exhaust leak and potential for incorrect readings, it might be best to have a workshop diagnose it properly. You could end up chasing ghosts otherwise!

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I took it to a workshop. The cable of the NOx sensor was indeed defective, and they've quoted me 95€ for the repair. I'll proceed with that.

Oh no, that sounds frustrating! A faulty NOx sensor can really mess with your car's performance and emissions. Is the car running rough, or are you noticing any changes in fuel economy? Have you tried visually inspecting the sensor's wiring harness for any obvious damage like frayed wires or loose connections?
