Thanks for the fast reply. Could a defective connection really cause both systems to fail at the same time? I assumed they were on different circuits.

Indeed, it seems counterintuitive. However, in my Volvo, both systems are linked. The pump losing power disabled both. It is advisable to visit a workshop to assess the cable connections and relays associated with the pumps. Perhaps a diagnostic scan would pinpoint the actual fault.

Thanks again for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on - a defective cable connection to the pump was the issue. The repair ended up costing 165€.

Greetings. A similar issue occurred with my 2016 Volvo XC70. The windshield washer system stopped working but the wipers were still operational. Upon inspection, the Xenon headlight washer pump's cable connection appeared defective. Is there a chance that the headlight cleaning system pump is faulty?
