NX Check Engine Light and Stalling

My 2021 Lexus NX hybrid is showing a check engine light and stalls at idle. Mileage is 182126 km. I suspect it's a fuel tank ventilation system leak, possibly a defective activated charcoal filter?

I had similar symptoms in my NX. Have you checked the purge valve? Could be an EVAP system failure. Is the emission control system working properly?

Where is the purge valve located, and how would I test it?

Without the right tools, it's tricky to diagnose the purge valve itself. Given the check engine light and stalling, I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop. Could save you time and potential misdiagnosis.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Took it to a local shop; turned out to be exactly what I suspected, the charcoal filter. Repair cost 275€.
