NX Engine Uneven Running

I'm having a weird issue with my 2023 Lexus NX gasoline. It's got about 43k km on it, and the engine is running unevenly. The check engine light is on, and the error memory has a stored error. I also notice some jerking when accelerating. Could this be an ignition coil or maybe even a fuel pump issue?

Rough idle and jerking? Sounds familiar! I've got an NX too. Did you check for any exhaust leaks? I had similar symptoms once and it turned out to be a small leak in the exhaust system.

An exhaust leak? That's interesting, I hadn't considered that. Was your check engine light on as well? And how did you pinpoint the leak? I was leaning towards a faulty crankshaft sensor or maybe even the fuel injectors.

Yup, check engine light was on. Honestly, I didn't pinpoint it myself. The symptoms were similar, so I took it to a workshop. They found it pretty quick. I'd suggest doing the same if you're not sure. Could save you some time and headache!
