NX Radar Sensor Malfunction

My 2014 Lexus NX with a gasoline engine is showing a radar sensor malfunction. Getting an error message in the speedometer, the error is also stored in the error memory, and it seems to be causing various systems to fail. Warning light is also on in the speedometer. I suspect it might be a dirty sensor. Anyone else experienced this?

I have an NX too, and I had something similar happen a while back. The collision avoidance system went haywire and threw a bunch of errors. Does it happen intermittently, or is it constant?

It's pretty constant. Happens every time I start the car. Did yours eventually fail completely or was it intermittent before?

Mine was intermittent at first, then became constant. Eventually, I took it to a workshop, they recalibrated it, and it was fine. Worth a shot, it could be a simple fix.

Thanks, I'll check the sensor first, clean it, and take it to the workshop if that doesn't work. Turns out it was just a dirty sensor. Cleaned it and all errors went away. Cost me 45€ for the cleaning.
