Onix automatic transmission problem
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Chevrolet Onix is experiencing automatic transmission issues, including failure to start in Park, a check engine light, and occasional gearbox slipping. The problem is likely related to a defective transmission control unit, as indicated by an error code. The suggested solution is to have the control unit inspected and repaired at a workshop, which successfully resolved the issue.

I think it mentioned a control unit. The shifting is rough sometimes, yes. Could it be the park brake or the gear linkage?

Sounds like the affected control unit is defective, like it was with mine. I tried looking at the gear shifter and shift lock, but it didn't help. Best to take it to a workshop.

Thanks for the info. I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed the control unit. Repair cost me about 1000€, but it's fixed now.

I had a similar issue with my Onix. Does the error code point to a transmission sensor or control unit? Is the shifting rough, or does it feel like it's between gears sometimes?
