Summary of the thread
A 2022 Chevrolet Onix experienced engine stalling and reduced power after a fuel filter change, with the check engine light on. Thanks! I think I seated everything correctly with the fuel filter, but I'll double-check. Could a bad fuel pressure regulator actually cause the engine to stall completely at idle and reduce engine power that much?

Yeah, from what I recall, a bad fuel regulator can definitely cause those issues. Stalling, loss of power. If you're not 100% sure about the filter and the regulator is suspect, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. Don't want to mess things up further.

Appreciate the advice. I rechecked the fuel filter and it was correctly installed. Took it to a workshop as suggested, and the fuel pressure regulator was defective, likely due to an error entry. Repair cost was 45€. Thanks for the help!

Hey! I had something similar on my Onix. Check engine light and rough idling. I remember reading it could be a faulty fuel regulator, especially after messing with the fuel filter. Did you make sure everything was seated properly when you replaced it?
