Hey, sure, I can give you the info. In my case, the cost of replacing the defective control unit was €600 in total. That solved all the problems with the battery and the flickering lights. And yes, since I had it done at the garage, nothing like that has ever happened again. In particular, the problem with the heavily discharged vehicle battery due to self-discharge was completely resolved.
