Opel Signum: Check engine light on and reduced engine power
I have a problem with my Opel Signum. The check engine light is on, the engine power is reduced and the engine is difficult to start. The fault codes I have read out are P0409, P0571, P0382, P0235, P0615, P1625 and P1530. All these faults appear to be circuit faults. The battery has 12.7 V and the alternator 13.7 V. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be and how I can fix it?

It seems like you have a variety of issues going on, which could be related to the electrical system given the circuit faults. Start by checking all the fuses and relays, especially those related to the codes you've mentioned. Also, inspect the wiring harness for any signs of damage or corrosion. If everything looks good, you might have a problem with the ECU itself. However, due to the complexity and potential safety issues, I would recommend having a professional mechanic look at it if you're not comfortable doing these checks yourself. Please update us on your progress. Do you have any other questions?
