Optra Rough Idle Stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Chevrolet Optra was experiencing rough idling, stalling, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The initial concern was a potential coil pack issue. After inspecting the cable and plug connections on the ignition coils, it was found that a defective connection was causing the problem. Repairing the faulty connection resolved the issue, and the vehicle is now running smoothly.

When you say 'cable and plug connections', do you mean physically inspecting them for looseness or damage, or is there something else I should be looking for? Was your check engine light on as well?

Yes, visually inspect them. Look for anything obvious. My check engine light was indeed on. Given all your symptoms, it really does sound like a defective ignition coil or a bad connection. I'd suggest getting it diagnosed at a workshop though; they'll pinpoint the faulty coil quickly.

Thank you so much for your help! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were absolutely right! It was indeed a defective ignition coil, or rather, a bad connection to it. The cable connection was defective. The repair cost me 95€, and now my Optra is running smoothly again. Thanks again for the advice!

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Optra: rough running and stalling. Have you checked the cable and plug connections on each coil? That was my issue.
