Wheel alignment seems fine, no visible issues. How did you fix the 'heavy steering' and vibration problem?

Turns out the coding of the steering angle sensor was faulty. Couldn't fix it myself, unfortunately. Had to take it to a workshop. They recalibrated the sensor.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicion. Had it checked; the sensor was indeed defective. Cost me 195€ to replace and calibrate. Appreciate the input.

I had something similar on my Optra. Steering felt heavy at times and I definitely noticed the vibrating. Have you checked your wheel alignment? That can sometimes throw things off and mess with the angle sensor readings.
