Otti engine jerking

My 2006 Nissan Otti with a gasoline engine is running rough. The check engine light is on, and there's an error stored. It jerks when accelerating. Mileage is at 128531 km. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my Otti. Check your exhaust system for leaks. It caused misfires that felt like jerking. Think of it like a punctured balloon – the air doesn't flow correctly.

Exhaust leak, eh? Where exactly should I be looking?

Essentially everywhere from the manifold to the tailpipe. But without specific equipment, you're likely better off having a workshop inspect it. Their equipment can pinpoint it down much quicker. I ended up spending 265€ at the shop to resolve this, which at the time was worth it to not have to crawl around under the car myself.

Thanks, I'll take it in. Turns out it was a leak in the exhaust system, just like you said. Appreciate the help.
