Otti oxygen sensor heater failure

My 2013 Nissan Otti with a gasoline engine has a check engine light for an oxygen sensor heater failure, and my fuel consumption jumped. I checked the wiring, and the plug seems okay. Could there be a deeper connection issue?

I had a similar problem with my Otti. Check engine light and everything. Did you try swapping or testing the sensor? What readings are you getting?

I haven't swapped the sensor yet. When you say 'testing it,' what did you do? Did you use a multimeter, or is there a specific test for the heater element?

A multimeter is useful. I'm not super technical, so I took mine to a workshop after fiddling with it. They diagnosed it quickly. Might save you a headache!

I took it to a shop. It was a defective connection, like the error code said. Cost 95€ to fix. Thanks!
