Otti seat heater problem

Hey, my 2012 Nissan Otti, gasoline engine, has a seat heater issue. The seat heating doesn't get warm, and there's an error stored in the error memory. Suspect the seat heating mat is defective. Anyone else seen this?

Yep, had a similar problem with my Otti. Same symptoms. Have you checked the thermal sensor?

No, I haven't. Where is it located and how do I check?

It's integrated into the seat cushion, part of the heating element circuit. Honestly, for that kind of thing, I'd just take it to a workshop. I ended up paying around 390€ for the repair.
