Hi, thanks for your quick reply! Interesting to hear that you had similar problems with your Berlingo. Did the garage only repair the cable connection or were there other things that had to be done? And it's been a while - have any other problems cropped up since then? And do you remember how much the repair cost? I'd like to know roughly what I should expect. Thank you!

Hello, good question! After I took my car to the garage, they actually fixed the "auxiliary coolant pump malfunction". It was probably one of the main reasons for the heat problems. Now, since the repair, everything is running smoothly again! And to your second question - no further problems have arisen since then, everything is tip-top. Regarding the cost, yes, that is an important point. Fixing the faulty cable connection cost me just under €170. It's a bit expensive, but bear in mind that the exact cost can vary depending on location and workshop. Hope this helps you! See you soon!

Hello, it certainly sounds reassuring that everything is going well again and that no further problems have arisen. Thanks for the information about the costs, at least I have a rough idea of what I might have to pay. Of course, it can vary depending on the garage, but this gives me a rough idea. I'll try another garage and hope that they can do the same for my Jumpy. Thanks again for the quick and helpful reply. Have a nice day! Bye!

Hey, I had similar problems with my Citroen Berlingo, built in 2005. I also had the engine indicator light coming on and constant problems with overheating. In my case, the cause was a defective cable connection. I had it repaired in the workshop and then the problem was solved. It's definitely not a minor issue, but it's not the end of the world either. As far as I know, it doesn't have a major impact on the overall performance of the vehicle. But get it checked as soon as possible anyway, just to be on the safe side. Bye!
