Paceman multifunction steering wheel issue

I had something similar happen on my Paceman. The malfunction indicator came on, and the steering wheel controls went dead. It could be a sensor issue, or like you said, a cable problem. Have you checked the fuses? That's the easiest thing to try first.

Checked fuses, all seem fine. When you had the issue, did the error specifically mention the steering wheel control module, or was it something else? Just trying to narrow it down before I take it in.

Yeah, the error pointed to the steering wheel control module. It's located in the steering column. I couldn't fix it myself, so I took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Big thanks for the info. Got it checked out. Turns out it was indeed a faulty cable connection in the steering wheel. Cost 95€ to fix. All good now.
