Thanks! Where exactly is the sensor located, and is it easy to get to the wiring and plug? I'm not super mechanically inclined, so I'm a bit worried about messing something up.

On my car it was behind the front bumper, near the fog light. You can probably get to it without removing the bumper completely, but it's a tight squeeze. Given the symptoms, though, I’d seriously consider getting it checked by a workshop. It could save you some headaches. Better safe than sorry when it comes to electrical stuff.

Okay, I understand. I'll take a peek at the connection, but I think I'll take your advice and bring it in. The estimate is around 95€, so it's not the end of the world. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Palio. I'd check the wiring and the plug connection to the sensor first. Those are common failure points. Have you inspected those already?
