Palisade Audio System Failure
Summary of the thread
The audio system in a 2023 Hyundai Palisade diesel has completely stopped working, with no sound output. The issue may be related to a malfunctioning bass speaker, which could be preventing the signal from reaching other speakers. A similar problem was resolved by replacing the bass speaker, which restored the audio system's functionality. It is suggested to have the bass speaker checked and possibly replaced to fix the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! That's interesting about the bass speaker affecting everything. It didn't really get muffled, as much as the sound was becoming more tinny, as if the power were getting lower and lower. Then bam, silence! Is replacing the bass speaker difficult?

My audio went from great, to tinny, to silent just like you're describing. I would say you should replace the bass speaker at the next garage you find, especially if the sound quality has been poor. I went to the workshop and it was sorted for 280€. No problems since.

That's super helpful; thanks a bunch! I'll get it booked in for a checkup and tell them to look at the bass speaker first. I'll let you know the resolution!

I had a similar problem with my Palisade. It sounds to me like the bass speaker went bad, and it's not allowing the signal to get to the other speakers. Did it get muffled before it went completely silent?
