Palisade Cruise Control Malfunction

I had a similar issue with my Palisade. Did you check the cable and plug connections of the cruise control actuator? A defective connection there could definitely cause those symptoms. Also, have you had any work done recently around the steering wheel or near the fuse box? Sometimes, things can get bumped or disconnected accidentally.

The actuator is usually near the steering wheel controls. It's worth a look, but honestly, if you're getting an error code and the connections look alright, it might be something internal. I'd suggest taking it to a reputable mechanic to get a proper diagnosis and avoid causing further problems with the car electronics. In my case, I had a similar cable issue and the repair was around 95€. Better safe than sorry!
