Panda Alarm System Error
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Fiat Panda with a gasoline engine experienced a faulty siren communication error, disabling the alarm system. The issue was suspected to be due to a defective cable or plug connection. After considering potential causes, such as battery voltage and siren defects, it was suggested to consult a qualified workshop. The workshop confirmed and resolved the cable issue, restoring the alarm system's functionality.

Thanks! How did you assess the siren? Did you use a multimeter or is there another way to check?

My car battery was fine. I also suspected the siren, but testing it directly requires specialized equipment. Given a defective cable or plug is likely, and the siren is complex to diagnose, I'd suggest a qualified workshop to solve it.

Thanks! A local workshop confirmed a cable issue and resolved it for 95€. I appreciate your help in guiding me toward a solution!

I had a similar issue with my 2008 Opel Corsa: error codes and a malfunctioning alarm. Did you check the car battery voltage? Is the siren itself defective?
