Partner Active Hood Fault

Has anyone seen an "Active hood fault" message on the dash of their 2022 electric Peugeot Partner? Mileage is 283532 km. The airbag light is on too, and I've pulled the codes – definitely related to the active hood. Seems like the spring actuators have been triggered somehow. Anyone had a similar experience? Suspecting a faulty acceleration sensor, but where do I even start?

Active hood fault on a Partner, eh? Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen on mine (though it's not the electric version). Was the warning message constant, or did it come and go? Did you notice anything else out of the ordinary?

The warning's pretty much constant now. It flickered a couple of times initially, but now it's just there. No other obvious symptoms, the van drives fine otherwise. What was your issue, and how did you fix it?

Yeah, sounds like the same headache I had. It turned out to be a faulty sensor as you suspected. Honestly, with the airbag light also being on, and the actuators already triggered, you're probably best off taking it to a workshop. Messing with airbag systems is never a good idea if you don't know what you're doing. Cost me around 315€ to get sorted.

Thanks for the advice! Sounds like a workshop visit is the way to go then. I'll get it booked in and report back. It was indeed the acceleration sensor, now sorted. Thanks again!
