Partner alarm siren fault
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Peugeot Partner is experiencing an alarm system malfunction, with an error indicating a siren communication fault. The initial troubleshooting involved checking the fuses, which did not resolve the issue. A possible cause suggested is a faulty cable or plug connection to the siren, potentially involving power supply issues. It is recommended to inspect the wiring to the siren, but if accessing these connections is challenging, seeking professional assistance at a workshop is advised.

Thanks for the tip. Where exactly should I be looking for these connections? Is it difficult to access?

It was a while ago, but I recall it being fiddly to get to. Honestly, based on my experience, unless you're very comfortable with auto electrics, it might be best to take it to a workshop. Mine cost 95€ to resolve.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I appreciate the help. I'll take it to a shop and mention the wiring issue.

I had a similar issue on my Partner. From what I remember, the cable or plug connection of the component was faulty. Did you check all the wiring to the siren itself? Is the siren getting power?
