Parasitic drain crossed my mind, but how did you pinpoint the battery sensor on your Partner? Any specific tests or observations?

Well, after a lot of diagnostics, the garage identified the battery sensor as the culprit. Given your symptoms, I'd recommend getting it professionally checked. A faulty sensor can wreak havoc with the charging system. In my case, the repair plus new sensor ended up costing 315€. It's best to have it confirmed before throwing parts at it.

Thanks for the info. Confirmed, it was indeed the battery sensor. Replaced, and the car's running perfectly now.

Sounds familiar. I drive a Partner too. Were you also experiencing a heavy battery discharge? Because I had similar issues: error messages, weak lights, and starting problems. Did you check for parasitic drain?
