Partner charge air temp sensor error
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Peugeot Partner with a gasoline engine is experiencing a charge air temperature sensor error, resulting in a check engine light and reduced power, accompanied by a whistling noise during acceleration. The issue is suspected to be related to the sensor cable and plug, although no visible damage is observed. A similar case was resolved by repairing a faulty connection at the sensor plug, suggesting that a professional inspection and repair might be necessary to address the problem effectively.

Good question. No, I didn't see any temperature gauge fluctuations. As for other error codes, no, the charge air temp sensor code is the only one showing up. What was the solution for your Partner when you had the issue?

Okay, just wanted to rule out a few things. In my case, the hissing sound became quite prominent, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed a faulty connection at the sensor plug, just as you suspected. The fault was located, the cable repaired and everything was fine again.

That's really helpful. I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it sounds like I should just bite the bullet and take it in. I appreciate you sharing your experience, it appears to be the same issue with mine and I got the final bill today: 95€. Cheers!

Interesting. I have a Partner as well and experienced something similar a while back. Reduced power and a weird whistling sound. Did you notice any temperature fluctuation on the gauge before the check engine light came on? Also, were there any other error codes stored besides the charge air temp sensor?
