Door contacts, huh? Where exactly are those located? And how can I check the connections? I'm not super handy with car electrics.

Yep, the door contact is basically a sensor that tells the car if the door is open or closed. It's usually located on the door frame or the door itself, where the door latches. Honestly, if you're not comfortable poking around, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. I ended up doing that, and they sorted it out pretty quick. Cost me around 95€.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got a Partner too, though not the electric version. Had a similar problem with my car alarm going haywire and the central locking acting up. Turned out to be a faulty door switch. Have you checked the door contacts and their connections? It could be a dodgy cable or plug.
