Thanks for the tip! You mentioned an actuator issue, but I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Are there any specific points on the cable or plug connections I should be looking at? And no, I don't have a diagnostic tool myself.

Okay, without the diagnostic tool, it's harder to pinpoint. By 'actuator issue,' I meant a potential problem with the component that physically controls the cruise control. Since you're seeing an error message and have confirmed non-functionality, and given that it's a relatively new vehicle, a faulty cable or plug connection is the most probable cause. Honestly, given the electric engine, it may be best to take it to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. After checking the connections myself without success, I took it to a shop as you suggested. Turns out it was a defective plug connection as you suspected, repair cost me 95€. Thanks!

Sounds like a potential actuator issue. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the cruise control system? A defective connection there could easily trigger those symptoms. Do you have access to a diagnostic tool to read the specific error code?
