Partner power window failure

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2012 Peugeot Partner diesel. The power windows suddenly stopped working. I can't operate them at all from any of the window switches. I scanned it and there's an error stored, something about initialization. It started after I replaced the battery. Anyone seen this before?

Hey, I had something similar happen on my Partner. After the battery change, the window controls went completely dead. Did you try the window reset procedure? The auto up/down didn't work.

Window reset? No, I haven't. I didn't even know that was a thing. How do you do that? Do I need to take the door panel off to get to the window regulator or something?

No, you don't need to pull the door panel off or mess with the window regulator itself. The reset procedure didn't work for me, I ended up taking it to a workshop. They hooked it up and sorted it out pretty quickly. Seems like it needed some kind of Peugeot-specific tool.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm headed to the workshop, then. I was hoping it would be a simple fix but I'm not surprised I couldn't solve it myself. They sorted it out for 290€. Apparently they had to re-initialize the window controls. Annoying, but at least it's fixed.
