Partner Rain Light Sensor Fault

Hey, I've got a 2023 Peugeot Partner electric with nearly 300k km on the clock. I'm pulling my hair out over a rain-light sensor fault. The error memory's storing a fault, the auto-wiping's dead, the headlights won't automatically adjust, and even the speedo dimming's gone bonkers. Plus, the lights keep randomly switching themselves on. Any ideas before I torch the thing?

Greetings. This does sound bothersome. Has there been any recent work done to the windshield? And when did you first notice this array of malfunctions with the sensor?

No recent windshield work, but I do remember getting a stonechip repaired a few months back in the area around the sensor. It's difficult to recall but perhaps around that time, the symptoms started.

I appreciate this additional information, it seems likely the repair caused bubbles to form under the windshield's gel pad, impacting the sensor. It is advisable to have the local workshop confirm this diagnosis and effect the repair.

Thanks so much. Diagnosed as you suggested and fixed with a new gel pad for 62€. You saved me a lot of frustration!
