Partner Steering Angle Sensor Fault

I had something similar with my Partner, felt like driving a tank! Check the electronic stability system and sensors first. Could be the angle sensor. Alignment problems can cause that too. Did you check the alignment?

Yes, the symptoms sound very similar. It ended up being the steering angle sensor needing recalibration. I'd advise taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed. They'll be able to read the fault codes and confirm the issue.

Following your advice, I took my Partner to a workshop, and they confirmed a faulty steering angle sensor! The repair, including recalibration, was 195€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
