Chip tuning? Yeah, I had a third-party provider install one a while back to try and get a little more oomph. You think that could be the issue?

100% dude. That's exactly what messed up mine. After going to the workshop, they told me that the chip tuning was faulty. You better have the car checked by a professional.

Thanks for the heads up. Turns out you were spot on. Took it to a mechanic, and they confirmed the chip tuning was the problem. Cost me 180€ to get it sorted, but at least it's running right now. Appreciate the help!

Dude, that sucks. I had something similar happen with my Patrol (don't remember the year exactly). Check engine light, felt like it was running on half power. Any chance you messed with the chip tuning?
