Patrol rain light sensor malfunction

Whoa, sounds familiar! I’ve got a Patrol as well and had some crazy sensor stuff happening a while back. Did you check for bubbles under the gel pad on the windshield where the sensor sits? Seems like moisture getting in there can cause all sorts of electrical mayhem. Have you tried any sensor calibration or is it completely unresponsive?

Dropped it off at the workshop, and they confirmed it. 62€ later, new gel pad, sensor recalibrated, and everything's working perfectly again. You saved me a ton of time and frustration!
