Persistent Airbag Warning Light on Mercedes A35 - Carly Scanner Not Detecting

I have a Mercedes A35 and I've been dealing with an airbag warning light issue. Previously, I was able to reset this warning light using my Carly scanner. However, the light has come back on and now when I scan the vehicle with the Carly, it's not detecting the fault anymore. Nothing about the vehicle has changed, so I'm puzzled as to why it's no longer picking up this fault. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Summary of the thread

A Mercedes A35 owner is experiencing a persistent airbag warning light issue that was previously reset using a Carly scanner. The scanner is now unable to detect the fault, despite the warning light being active. Possible causes include a problem with the airbag system, sensor issues, or a communication error. Suggested solutions include trying a different scanner or consulting a professional mechanic for a thorough inspection. Additionally, there is a concern about potential updates from Mercedes affecting the scanner's ability to detect faults.

Airbag warning light is a serious safety issue and should not be ignored. It could be a problem with the airbag system itself, or it could be an issue with the sensor. Since your scanner is not detecting the fault, it might be a good idea to try a different scanner if you have access to one. If the problem persists, I would strongly recommend taking your car to a professional mechanic for a thorough inspection. Please keep us updated on your progress. Do you have any other questions?

I understand this, I have already established historically it a was stored fault, a simply communication error that was outside the parameters, hence bringing the light up. This was cleared and did not return until last week (where I suspect the same issue is present) however the scanner is no longer detecting the error that is clearly visible on the car display. I have also tried another scanner that did not detect it. Have Mercedes done any kind of update that might limit the results of these ‘cheap’ OBD readers?
