Persistent Error with LED Parking Lights on BMW 3 - Need Help!

Hello fellow car enthusiasts, I've recently upgraded my BMW 3's parking lights to LED with built-in Canbus. Despite this, I'm still receiving an error code. I initially thought it was due to the quality of the LEDs, so I switched to a highly recommended brand, but the error persists. I attempted to code them out using Carly, as I did with my H7 bulbs, but I can't seem to find the option for parking lights in the FEM coding. I'm wondering if this could be due to the removal of the original bulbs, but it seems unlikely as the system clearly detects the LEDs. Any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Check if the LED bulbs are properly seated and making good contact in the socket. Sometimes, a poor connection can cause error codes. If the connection is secure, try resetting the car's ECU by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. This can sometimes clear error codes related to new installations. Let me know if this helps or if you have any further questions!

Thankyou, the lights work absolutly fine it’s just this error code. I’ll try disconnecting the battery and see if that helps the issue.

Make sure to have your radio code and any necessary settings backed up before disconnecting the battery. After reconnecting, check if the error persists. If it does, consider checking for any firmware updates for your car's ECU that might address compatibility with LED bulbs. Let me know how it goes or if you need further assistance!
