Persistent problem with code 20A504 in BMW 2 Series

Hello everyone, I have a 2016 BMW 2 Series with 73,800 km and I'm facing a problem with the check engine light on. The error code that appears is 20A504. I've already changed the pump, but the code keeps appearing. Despite this, the car doesn't seem to overheat or present any visible faults. Has anyone had a similar experience or knows what could be causing this problem? I would appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thank you!

The error code 20A504 typically relates to the coolant pump. Since you've already replaced the pump, check the wiring and connectors for any signs of damage or corrosion. Ensure all connections are secure. If the issue persists, it might be worth inspecting the thermostat or the coolant temperature sensor. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!

Thank you, I will update the results.

Check if the coolant temperature sensor is functioning correctly, as it can sometimes cause this error code. If the sensor is faulty, it might not be sending the right signals to the engine control unit. Let me know if you need further assistance!
