Petra Airbag Warning Light
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Fiat Petra diesel displayed an airbag warning light at 90,983 km. The suspected cause was a defective cable or plug connection. After checking connections under the seats, the issue was confirmed to be a faulty connection to the crash sensor. A workshop visit resolved the problem.

Yes, I checked those. Is there anything else that could be the reason? I need to explore all options before taking it in.

It was the same cause for me, a faulty connector. I advise a workshop visit. It will save you a lot of time.

Thanks for your help. After diagnosis at the workshop, it was indeed a defective connection to the crash sensor, costing 95€. I really appreciate your insights!

I have a Petra. Airbag light issues often relate to the crash sensor wiring. Have you checked the connections under the seats?
